Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your order. If something is not quite right, eligible items purchased through our retail website may be returned for store credit only by initiating a return request through the customer account portal within 7 days of delivery.

 

Eligibility

 

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • In original packaging
  • Unworn, unused, and in resalable condition
  • With all original tags attached

Used or washed items are not eligible for return or store credit.

If an item is returned in used condition, no credit will be issued. You may request to have the item returned to you at your expense.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or store credit:

  • Clearance or marked-down items
  • Flawed items, seconds, or manufacturing samples
  • Tester products
  • Fabric cuts or fabric items
  • Preorders (non-cancellable)
  • Items purchased with promotional codes, coupons, or gift certificates
    (exchange only)

 

 


How to Start a Return

All returns must be initiated through the customer account portal.


  1. Log into your customer account using the email address used at checkout
  2. Select the order you wish to return
  3. Submit your return request within 7 days of delivery

The return window applies to opening the return request, not to the date the item is mailed.

Return requests submitted outside this window cannot be approved.


Shipping Your Return

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service
  • Oak + Acorn is not responsible for lost or damaged return packages
  • Once the return is received and inspected, store credit will be issued (less original shipping and handling fees)
  • Store credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for refunds

Please allow 2–3 business days for return processing after delivery.

 

Additional Notes

 

  • Requests for cancellation placed shortly after ordering may not be seen before processing begins
  • Once an order has entered processing or shipped, cancellations are no longer possible
  • Backorder items ship according to the timeline listed in the product description and follow the same return eligibility requirements
