Designed as a durable outer layer, these splash pants are made from 100% cotton canvas and intended to be worn over base and mid layers, including boiled wool snowsuits. The tightly woven canvas is treated with a beeswax-blend finish to create a water-resistant barrier that helps shed moisture while remaining breathable and flexible in cold, damp conditions.

Well suited for wet snow, slush, and muddy play, they provide practical protection without plastic membranes or laminated coatings. The relaxed fit with added space at the waist allows for easy and comfortable layering with unrestricted movement, making them a dependable addition to a traditional cold-weather system.

As with all waxed canvas garments, these pants will develop character with wear. Natural creasing, light marking, and subtle variations in the finish are expected and are part of the material’s lived-in look.

Care Instructions

• Do not machine wash or dry

• Do not use detergents, soaps, or solvents

• Creases or fold lines can be softened by gently warming the wax with a hair dryer and smoothing by hand

• Re-wax as needed to maintain water resistance

• Air dry away from direct heat
